The product structure
Notice:
There are seven holes on the heat preservation tank: T/P valve hole, hot water outlet hole, cold water inlet hole, electric heating stick hole (optional), temperature sensor hole (optional), magnesium stick hole (optional), limber hole (optional) .

Working principles
The main body of integrated pressure bearing type series consists of three parts, vacuum tubes with heat pipe, heat preservation tank and support frame. The chief heat-collected part is the vacuum tubes (infrared-reflection layer, absorbance layer, anti-reflection layer), which are made up of three point three high borosilicate glass tubes using full automatic equipment and advanced international magnetron sputtering technology. The outside of the inner tube is coated with aluminum nitride layer or stainless aluminum nitride, which can endure a temperature up to 350 . The coating absorbs sunlight exclusively (absorptance=0.92, emittance=0.09, 80 ). The vacuum tubes absorb sunlight and convert the solar energy into power. This system uses the fluid in the copper heat pipe as heat exchanger, which can start to work in the very short time, about 5 second.

The vacuum tube solar collector is absorbing the solar rate and transferring the heat to the copper pipe by the aluminum heat conducting sheet inside the vacuum tube. Then the fluid changes from liquid into vapor by heating and goes up by inside the heat pipe. After exchanging the heat between the condenser end of the heat pipe with the water in the storage cylinder ,the vapor turns into liquid again and goes down to the base of the heat pipe. By this circulation, the water in the storage cylinder is heated by the heat pipe. When hot water is used, cold water will be supplied from the bottom of the storage cylinder. The circulation repeats and the water in tank become hot.

In this system, there is no water flowing in the vacuum tubes, so it is specially used in the frost area.


Installation Instruction
  1. The water heater should be installed at a place where it can fully absorb the sunlight. Put the main body towards the south (or 10 degree towards the west) and fix it firmly.
  2. The sequence of installation: first install the support frame, then the water tank, and last the vacuum tubes .When you install the vacuum tubes, set the rear undercarriage into the rear undercarriage board first, then have some detergent on the surface of the tubes and the dustproof seal. Spin the tubes slowly into the water tank, and then spin back to the undercarriage board. Install the two tubes at the outboard of the tank first, then adjust the space between the vacuum tubes and water tank, then install other tubes.
  3. After the installation of the main body of the water heater, you can install the pipes. There are 7 holes on the water tank shell and you can install according to actual needs. Pay great attention to the T/P valve, make sure that it can exhaust, otherwise, the water tank would be badly damaged.
  4. In order to use the product normally in cold weather, please take measures to keep the pipe lines warm and empty to avoid freezing and frost cracking.
  5. Keep the beautiful appearance of the architecture when you arrange the pipes, and pipes should be fixed solidly with the architecture.

When use the product for the first time or reuse it after a long period of suspension, please check the whole system first.





Installation for steeped roofs

Bridge type is suitable for low steeped roofs. Install at a gradient of 30 degrees;
Adjustable type is suitable for high steeped roofs. Install at a gradient of 60 degrees;
Bridge type and adjustable type are alternative, and it's OK to use close roof type.


User Guide

  1. This is a pressure system that the storage cylinder and the heat pipe are closed mechanically
  2. The tank is always full with hot water, no need to inlet cold water manually.
  3. Use bath warmer or warm air blower to improve room temperature in winter.
  4. In extreme cold places where collective hot water use is impossible, please use other heater or use electric heating back for the solar system.
  5. Adjust the water temperature to a desirable one according to season, illumination, and hydraulic.
  6. Although there are some vacuum tubes broken, the whole system can still work normally. And it has a very good anti-freezing performance. The heat pipe won't be frozen at the temperature 25 degree below zero and the liquid in it will remain liquid state.
  7. about the cylinder, the inner is 1.5mm 304 2B food grade stainless steel, it is welded by argon arc protecting welding .which is very durable, high density of polyurethane foam keep the heat in the cylinder in good condition.
  8. Each cylinder will be tested before delivery out of the factory. Its tested pressure is 1.2MPA (12bar).And the operation pressure is 0.6MPA (6bar).
  9. The daily efficiency is equals to or more than 55% than standard type solar water heater in summer time, and equals to or more than 42% than standard type solar water heater in winter time.
  10. Avoid long time exposure of the water heater without water; otherwise it would shorten the lifespan of the vacuum tubes.
  11. Check the protective device and fuse before using the electric heater. First fill water and then connect power. Forbid heating without water in the tank.
  12. Please don't use the product when a thunder storm occurs. Keep the water tank full when there are typhoons.
  13. In high places where temperature is high and frequented by storms, it is better to dismantle the reflecting board; otherwise the snow would block the vacuum tubes and thus damage the water heater. In places where sunshine is normal, the water heater can be use normally.
  14. If the utility rate is low or the temperature is too high, some sunshade material can be used to cover the tubes to reduce the absorption of sunlight.


Notice:

The way of choosing good vacuum tube and heat-collected tube:
  1. Even color and luster surface;
  2. The rear suction mouth should be perfect;
  3. The rear vacuum getter should be mirror-like. A gray mirror image means low vacuum degree and a white bottom means no vacuum degree;
  4. Feel the surface of the vacuum heat-collected tube after hours of solar radiation; if the surface is cool then the vacuum degree is normal.

The way of clean the vacuum heat-collected tube:
In dry and dusty areas, clean the vacuum tubes one year or half a year. Clean the tubes with suds or washing powder water first, then clean the tubes and reflecting board with rinsing. It's unnecessary to clean the tubes in rainy areas.

The way of clean scale:

Due to high temperature of the tank, especially the tubes, or the impurities of the water, the scale problem would be serious, thus it is necessary to clean the tank and tubes by experts, once for a year or two.

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause Solution
water can't come The up and down pipes might freeze in winter The frost may disappear in about 3 hours in the sun; Install pneumatic valve.

The mouthpiece falls off or is blocked Connect or dredge the pipes.

Water supply is impossible or the overflow pipe malfunctions No water or low hydraulic pressure. Try again when there is water or when the hydraulic pressure is stable.
The mouthpiece of pipe line falls off or is damaged. Change the mouthpiece.
The valves malfunction. Change the valves.
The overflow pipe falls off. Connect the overflow pipe.
The vacuum heat-collected pipe is damaged. Change the vacuum heat-collected pipe.
The water temperature is not high enough The newly installed water heater doesn't have enough sunshine time. Its OK after the second sunny day.
The up and down water valves are broken or not completely closed, thus the cold water keeps on flowing to the tank. Change or close the valves. It's OK after the second sunny day.
Not enough sunshine or low quantity of radiant energy in winter. One sunnier day can solve the problem.
No heat preservation measure for the pipes in winter and serious thermal diffusion. Take heat preservation measures for the pipes.
The water temperature is not high enough Leakage of the vacuum pipes results in quick thermal diffusion. Change the vacuum pipes.
The water temperature is not stable The hydraulic pressure is not stable First turn on cold water, then turn on hot water, and adjust the cold water flow. (Don't open other valves when the hydraulic pressure is low.)
The outside of the tap water pipe is hot when supplying water The flow of hot water reverses due to the low hydraulic pressure. Supply water when the hydraulic pressure is high.
The sprinkler let out little water The hydraulic pressure of the pipe is too low, yet the pressure disparity between the tank and sprinkler is small. The pressure increases when the cold and hot water mix together.
The sprinkler has small yet few apertures, or the apertures are blocked by impurities. Change a sprinkler with larger water flow or clear the sprinkler.


Comparison Integrated pressure bearing type solar water heater between and non-pressure bearing type solar water heater and separated pressure bearing type solar water heaters:

  1. This type can supplement cold water automatically
  2. Working under pressured.
  3. It is cheaper and easy installer than the separated pressurized type.
  4. No silicone seal used for anti-leakage, no future maintenance.
  5. No intelligent controller, circulation pump, expansion pump and feed tank necessary used.
